On April 21, 2021, our beloved brother Mohammad Abdullah Khan sadly passed away due to Covid-19. He leaves behind his wife Shazia (my cousin), and two young beautiful children Anaya (age five) and Hasan (age 11), in Bakersfield, CA. He passed away while visiting his family in his home state of Lucknow, India where Covid has ravaged the population and country as a whole.

Whether by his smile, or his warmth, Abdullah Bhai (means respected elder brother) touched anyone and everyone he came in contact with...he always had a way to make you feel like you were the most important person in the room. His life was centered around his wife and two children.  He adored his wife, and she him, they were the love of each others lives. I had never seen Shazia so happy, she glowed when speaking of her Abdullah, this love was different. He was a superhero to his children, the sun and moon rose with their father. Anaya was counting the days on her calendar for her Papa’s return from India...now, sadly she looks up at the stars wishing for God to send her Papa back.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to safeguard, that we as a village, fulfill his dream of ensuring the education of his two babies. Let us follow in his giant footsteps of selflessness, duty, and sacrifice to continue his legacy through his children.
