Mi madre era una persona muy cariñosa. Es madre de cuatro hijos: dos niñas y dos niños. Emigró aquí con la esperanza de tener una vida mejor y de darnos la oportunidad que ella nunca tuvo. Lamentablemente, hace dos meses, a mi madre le diagnosticaron cáncer en etapa 4. Aproximamos que lo tenía dos meses antes del diagnóstico debido a la gravedad de la enfermedad cuando nos enteramos. Mi madre luchó con todas sus fuerzas durante esos dos meses. Iba constantemente al hospital. Tomaba sus medicamentos y trataba de comer lo que podía. Aun así, seguía intentando cuidarnos, diciéndonos constantemente que estaba bien, incluso cuando era evidente que no. Llegó un punto en que, en lugar de eso, tuvimos que ayudarla; la animábamos a seguir luchando. Sufría un dolor constante y hacíamos todo lo posible por estar ahí para ella y apoyarla. Con el paso del tiempo, la situación empeoró.

Tristemente, el 20 de mayo a las 6:20 p. m., tras una larga batalla contra el cáncer, falleció trágicamente. Dejó a mucha gente atrás: su mamá, su papá, sus hermanos y muchos de sus amigos. No solo ellos, sino también yo, mis otros tres hermanos y mi papá. Sabemos que hizo todo lo posible; luchó con todas sus fuerzas para seguir aquí con nosotros.

Siempre la llevaremos en nuestros corazones y estaremos eternamente agradecidos por ser una madre increíble. Pedimos ayuda para poder costear el funeral de mi mamá, con la esperanza de que descanse en paz, como ella deseaba. De verdad, cualquier cosa ayuda en estos momentos. Gracias, y que Dios te acompañe. My mom was a very loving person. She’s a mother of 4, 2 daughters and 2 sons. She immigrated here in hopes of having a better life and making sure she gave us the opportunity she never had. Sadly, 2 months ago, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We approximated that she had it 2 months prior to being diagnosed due to how bad it was whenever we found out. My mom fought hard for those 2 months. She would constantly go to the hospital. She took her medicines and tried eating whatever she could. With that, she would still try to care for us, constantly telling us that she was okay, even when it was clear she wasn't. It got to a point where we had to help her instead; we would motivate her to keep fighting. She was in constant pain, and we would do whatever we could to be there for her and support her. As time went by, it kept getting worse.

Sadly, on May 20th, 6:20 pm, after a long battle against cancer, she tragically passed away. She left many people behind: her mom, her dad, her siblings, and many of her friends. Not only them but me, my 3 other siblings, and my dad. We know she tried her best; she fought hard to still be here with us.

We will forever have her in our hearts, and we will forever be thankful for her being an amazing mom. We ask for help so we could afford my mom's funeral, in hopes of making sure she rests peacefully, the way she wanted. Really, anything will help in these times. Thank you, and may God be with you.
