This is an Indigenous Peruvian Shaman named Alcides, who needs our help to continue his legacy of service! He and his wife have been blessed with a baby after many miscarriages and heartbreak, which is now high risk. His wife, Frida must have many procedures and is now on bed rest, unable to work her job. Most indigenous Shamans not only work regular "day jobs," but also assist their local community members for FREE with their emotional/spiritual/community problems. Alcides has helped not only many local community members with this long linage of indigenous Peruvian medicine, but he is also a guardian of this lineage taught directly from his father and family. These people had to escape colonialism and risk their lives to ensure this knowledge survives! These indigenous shamans are now serving their medicine and treatments to foreigners ALL OVER THE WORLD to help us heal and return to harmony, serving as guardians of Pachamama while helping all hearts find our way back.
Without ensuring they can continue to have healthy families to protect, learn and pass on their knowledge, how can it survive? Now is the time we are all being called to come home to what is real and meaningful; I know Alcides has personally impacted me and MANY who will see this! While we may not hold this traditional knowledge, we benefit from it and need to ensure its survival. A precious baby struggling to come into this world needs us now, and I have translated this message from Alcides for you:
"Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This is Frida and Alcides, your humble servants. We apologize for disturbing your peace. We are asking for your help. We will soon be parents, but my wife's pregnancy is high-risk. We have many expenses and some debts we are unable to cover right now that I am the only one working. She must spend most of her time on bed rest. Thank God for this beautiful gift. For us, it's a miracle because we couldn't have children before and suffered many miscarriages. Now hope has returned, and thank you so much for being a part of this joy. May God continue to bless us all. Thank you so much for your generous help."
