Ensure Renee Receives a Proper Farewell

My name is Theresa Corbett, and Renee was a childhood friend of mine. She was one of the kindest souls I've ever known.

I ran into a mutual friend and found out that she passed away, I believe late summer. He told me that he contacted her family and no one was willing to help with expenses after she died. I also tried getting a hold of them, with no response.

Wanting to find out what happened to my friend, I contacted ASW Funeral Home and spoke with Chris. He couldn't find any information so he directed me to the L&C county coroner's office and that's where I found my old friend.

She is labeled as abandoned and come the month of May there will be a mass burial at the county Cemetery of all the unclaimed people the last couple of years.

The $1500.00 would be to reimburse the county so I can collect her remains.

She deserves better, they all do.
