Ensure Libby Curry's Safe Recovery in Danbury

Donation protected
Libby Curry has been sick for 9 plus months with a rare medical condition know as MALS. She requires surgery to peel back the ligament compressing on the celiac artery near her heart, have the nerves in her stomache removed known as the celiac ganglia. The family has found a specialist in Danbury Connecticut to perform the surgery October 9, 2024. Once discharged from the hospital, the surgeon Dr Hsu requires Libby to stay in Danbury so she is near the hospital should any complications occur. This will require Libby and her mother to take up residency for about 2-3 weeks in a hotel. They are currently in the fight of their lives with Fidelis , as Dr Hsu is out of network. He is the only Dr educated and trained to do what Libby needs anywhere close to their home in NY. Let’s all work together so their stay within Connecticut is the last thing they need to worry about. Libby is a Guilderland High School student in NY, and her illness not only has left her in excruciating pain since January but she has lost most of her friends due to her debilitating illness. Most days it’s a struggle to attend school, and she has a limited social life. She cannot even walk a block without feeling physically exhausted. She is the daughter of Paula Cadrett, originally of Adams, Massachusetts, And Shawn Curry also of Adams Massachusetts. Brian Miller, boyfriend of Paula has helped raiseLibby for the past 8 years in North Bethlehem NY. There are also some upfront medical costs that weren’t covered by the insurance
Let’s help Libby and Paula cover the costly stay they will facing. All funds raised will go directly to Paula and Libby. Thank You!
