Ensure Dad's Worry-Free Path in fighting cancer

This is man here is my hero. He raised my siblings and me all by himself. Single father of three, all he did was work. To be honest I don’t think he knows anything else. This selfless man has given everything for my siblings and me. If I could do one thing for him, it would be this. For those of you that know him, you know him well. He’s the best father/poppop to our family. He’s also the most caring and giving human I know. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that would need it.

I’m starting this GoFundMe because he’s been diagnosed with multiple myeloma. This is a type of “liquid “ cancer. This is a chronic illness. He has an upcoming appointment for a CT scan of his bones. One thing the cancer affects is your bones. It can cause lesions, and or bone deterioration. He will then have another blood work panel done. This will help the doctors determine when he will start treatment. Treatment will be atleast 4 months of chemotherapy. The doctor mentioned it’ll most likely be an oral chemotherapy or a shot he’ll have to go into the office twice a week for. After that he will move forward with a stem cell transplant. Im unsure on the recovery time on the stem cell transplant., and the details of the procedure itself. This is also a vague idea of what is to come. We are set up for an appointment to get second opinions. This is all new to use. As we get more understanding/information of what is next, I will be sure to update here. With all of these tests and treatments he will need, it leaves him unable to work while undergoing said tests, not to mention what recovery time he’ll need. We plan on using this money to help sustain his bills for he only has so much time off allowed for his job.

I’m trying to raise money so it is not something he’ll have to worry about. We want to make sure his only worry is getting the best help and treatments he’ll need. Any little bit would be greatly appreciated. Please help me help my father be worry-free about taking time off work to get this help.
