Ensure Claire's Safe and Pain-Free Pregnancy

My name is Claire Fries. I am 27 years young.

I was born with cerebral palsy, which affects how I walk. I have learned that the SI joint in both of my hips is badly degraded. This condition requires pain management through medication.

I have been blessed with a gracious partner and we are expecting our first child in November of this year.

Unfortunately, this will put a lot of pressure on my hips and the SI joints. I will need to stop pain medication during the pregnancy. My doctor recommended an ablation of the nerves in the SI joint area so I would not need pain relief during pregnancy.

Medicaid approved the procedure but will not pay for sedation. I will need to raise $2,000 for sedation and for follow-up care that is not covered by my insurance.
