Ensure Blu's Safety and Well-Being Amid Deportation

On Monday, March 31st, Blu was taken by ICE and is now being detained awaiting deportation to South Sudan. For those of you who truly know Blu, you know that he has been doing everything right. Blu was recently baptized and decided to give his life to Jesus. He’s been doing everything he can to better his life and walk that straight and narrow path since he’s been home. Like all of us, he’s faced struggles and obstacles, but he never let that stop him from getting where he wanted to be and accomplishing his goals. He needs y'all help What he’s facing is life-changing and is extremely terrifying considering that a WAR IS STILL GOING ON IN SOUTH SUDAN This is not the reality we thought we would have to face, and we’re asking for help to ensure that he has his basic necessities met. Whatever you can do to help ensure that Blu’s safety and well-being are protected as he prepares for this treacherous event is much appreciated. Anything helps as he will be starting over from scratch and leaving everything and everyone he knows and loves. Blu has been in the U.S. since he was a toddler. He graduated here, all of his family is here, all of his roots are here. This is his HOME, and he’s being ripped away from all he knows.

All of the funds raised for Blu will go towards basic needs such as funding for housing, food, hygiene products, transportation, and everything else he may need as he will be completely starting over with nothing and no one for support.
