My dear friend Aubrey Flock passed away on November 25, 2024. The coroner's office called me because I was listed as his emergency contact. After waiting a week, I called the coroner's office, and they have not been able to find a next of kin. I was referred to the facility where his body is being kept, and they referred me to a funeral home in Dayton. I would be able to claim his body if I pay for his cremation. I know he wanted to be buried with his parents and brother in Dayton, and I'm trying to find out where they are interred. The cremation itself will be $895, plus whatever it will cost to bury his remains (I'm hoping not more than $300). Headstone? I don't know. If any of you knew Aubrey, could you please help? He was an amateur radio operator (N8QNP) and a member of Miami Valley Rail Fans. I'm doing this on my own because he deserves better than a pauper's grave. Thank you.
