We are reaching out today to ask for urgent support for my amazing daughter, Charissa who is a dedicated momma to three children. She is also a wonderful wife. Last night, Charissa suffered a severe accident. She was walking down steps during work when she fell, resulting in a broken ankle and a severe sprain in her other ankle. She was rushed to the hospital by ambulance and is now completely immobile. She cannot walk and requires full assistance even for basic needs, like using the bathroom. This devastating fall means that Charissa is now unable to work, resulting in an immediate and total loss of income. Her husband just started his new job a few days ago so won’t get his first check for a couple weeks but with the flow of their bills, one persons income won’t reach what they need once he is able to catch up. Her focus needs to be entirely on her recovery and whatever physical therapy she may need, but she is now faced with the anxiety of covering her basic living expenses. The timing of this accident couldn't be worse, as we are entering the holiday season. We are asking for financial help to cover her monthly bills. Her youngest daughter’s birthday that falls at the end of this month. We also desperately want to ensure her three children have a joyous Christmas next month, something she always works so hard to provide. Charissa is truly a wonderful person with a generous heart and an incredible mother who puts her kids first in everything. This accident has sidelined her completely, and she needs a strong community to help her get through this.
