With broken hearts, we share the devastating news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Kendall Caran Sandage, a loving mother and wife, cherished friend, and compassionate member of our community. Her life was a beautiful example of kindness, warmth, and unwavering love — and her absence leaves a void that words can’t fill.
Kendall was the heart and soul of her family, and nothing mattered more to her than her two incredible children, Lars and Reese. She was their biggest cheerleader, their safe place, and their guiding light. Everything she did — every late night, every sacrifice — was to build a better future for them. She poured every ounce of her love, strength, and hope into raising them, always putting their needs above her own.
Kendall was a pillar in her community — always present, always giving. Whether she was volunteering at school events, Thursday Club, coaching softball, volunteering with her daughter at Madcaps, helping neighbors, or simply being there for anyone in need, she radiated love and compassion wherever she went. She touched countless lives with her generous spirit and open heart.
Now, in the face of this unimaginable loss, we are rallying together to honor her.
We are raising funds to help provide for:
Reese and Lars’ future college education, something Kendall deeply valued and dreamed of for her children.
Mental health support and counseling, for the family -to help them cope with the trauma and heartbreak of losing their mom and wife far too soon.
We invite those who wish to help, to consider sending a Uber Eats, DoorDash Ralphs, Vons, or Jensens gift card to the family. A meal train will be organized in a few weeks.
Though she’s no longer physically with us, her love lives on through her children. Every donation, and every message of support means the world to the family during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for being part of carrying her light forward.
