Hi,

my name's Richard and I'm starting this fundraiser to help a Friend and his Family in need.

My Friends name is Ensa Vendate Camara and he lives in Kombo Sifoe Village, Gambia,West Africa.

He and his entire Family work Farming Orange Groves.

The land is owned by someone else they merely Farm the crops for them but they live under the constant threat of Eviction because if their crops fail they would just all be replaced by the land owner.

Every day is a constant struggle finding water for the crops,let alone for themselves and their needs.

Food and Firewood is also hard to find which only adds to the daily constant pressures of surviving their surroundings.

I have a TikTok profile which I upload my Songs to (Songs I've written) .Ensa took a liking to some of them and we struck up a conversation online.

I find Ensa to be a very intelligent hard working young man only 19 years of age but very Wise and Educated.

He helps on the Farm and works extremely hard to provide for his family but unfortunately some days they have to go without the absolute basics like food and water due to the conditions which they live in.....I find that heartbreaking.

We here take so many things for granted which they there would look upon as absolute luxury.

He has told me of the struggles he and his family face each and every day Farming the Land which he Tentatively called Home and it is humbling.

His Dream is to one day Own a Plot of land himself with a good supply of water so that he can provide a better life for himself and his family.

This is admirable and I wanted to help in some small way.

Which is why I decided to set up this Fundraiser.....I wanted to try and help Ensa on his path to achieving his goal.

Helping one family struggling thousands of miles away,making a difference to their lives is my definition of Charity.....and was the inspiration behind a song I wrote called Charity.
