About the Sefer:

B'damayich Chayi is a commentary on the Haggadah. More fundamentally, it is a commentary on Jewish identity.

October 7 was a sea change. The world we grew up in—in which people acknowledged that murdering Jews is bad—no longer exists. Jews worldwide are undergoing an existential crisis, grappling to understand our place in a universe we no longer recognize.

We became a nation through Yetzias Mitzrayim. Every year on Pesach, we relive our national birth. Naturally, then, if we want to understand Jewish identity, we must look to the Haggadah.

Combining rigorous Talmudic analysis with a candid sociological eye, B'damayich Chayi highlights how the timeless words of Chazal illuminate, in every generation, what it means to be a Jew.
