Help us cross the pond to be MISSIONARIES in England!

Hello, my name is Drew. Fourteen years ago, I married my best friend, Laura. When I was fifteen, she made my family ice cream and the rest is history. Some would say we have packed a lot of life into the past fourteen years, including having seven kids. Six of whom live with us (Elijah, Harper, Scout, India, Augie, and Ophie) and Cove, who lives with Jesus.

I am a pastor, writer, and musician. Laura is a teacher, dreamer, and cultivator. We entered marriage with a dream to pastor, create, and bring our family to Laura’s birth Country of England. For the past five years, God has been preparing us for this dream.

• In 2019, I joined a cohort with Dr. Gerry Breshears at Western Seminary, graduating in the summer of 2022. Shortly after, Laura joined a cohort with Dr. Breshears, and will finish her journey at Western 9/24

• In 2021, I joined the staff at Park Hill Church, where Laura and I became Embedded Church Planters

• Laura and I have been mentored by some of the best, learning about pastoring, leading, and flourishing

We are being sent as MISSIONARIES by Park Hill Church in San Diego to England (8/23) to join the staff at a beautiful church in the UK for an extended season of preparation, after which we will be planting a church family of our own!

We will be living where we serve, and loving the people who live next door. While at the church in England, I will be serving as the Pastor of Engagement, pastoring welcoming teams, leading Alpha (a ministry of evangelism and outreach in the community), starting a Young Adults Ministry, and supporting the church’s media needs.

We need your help to cross the pond. Let’s talk about money.

Please help us raise $85,000!

Here’s the nitty gritty:

• $40,000 – Outstanding financial obligations on this side + a vehicle to fit our family of 8, furniture, and basic necessities when we arrive in England

• $10,000 – Legal costs for UK visa

• $35,000 (£28,000) – One year salary for our family to live in the UK. My salary from the church in England will cover our rent, and what we hope to raise will cover: food, gas, utilities, my seminary loan payment, and other costs of living (Raising this amount will help us keep Laura teaching our little ones at home, which is something the Lord placed on our hearts in 2015)
