Ennis Support for Chris
Update: * In case you missed it on the "Updates" tab, is with great sadness that we inform you that Chris went to be with the Lord on Thanksgiving morning. No gift can ever replace the loss of a husband and father.
But for those who have given to this campaign, your support is a tremendous help in this difficult time. For those who have already given or who can't give at this time, please continue to pray for the Meeker Family. Prayers reach further than financial support in this difficult time *
Chris Meeker is a man who loves the people of Ennis. You may know Chris as part of the FBM team, a deacon at Tabernacle, or you might have heard him singing Elvis songs around town.
Chris has been ill for several weeks. On Friday, November 3rd, he underwent surgery to remove his tonsils. Following the surgery, doctors discovered Acute Leukemia.
He is currently in ICU in severe condition. Please consider supporting Chris, his wife Laura, and their seven children. Nothing is certain at this point other than they will be facing some tough financially tough times ahead.
Our community is great at supporting each other. Let's rally around the Meeker family together.
