Dear Friends and Family,
We write this to ask for your help in assisting our good friends Ben and Abby Ennis. Ben and Abby are the wonderful parents to 5 beautiful children, and they both work as first responders.
In November Ben was unexpectedly found to have thyroid cancer. A week before Christmas, Ben had surgery to remove the cancer, and although it was caught early, there were complications and the doctors found that the cancer had spread more than expected. Ben was sent home from the hospital thinking he was in recovery, but a few hours later he began having trouble breathing. Luckily, Abby recognized that Ben's complications were serious and rushed him to the emergency room, where Ben then went into emergency surgery. Ben is now home recovering, but wont be able to return to work right away, and will have to go through radiation iodine treatments. As you can imagine, this will be a burden for the Ennis Family. Although health insurance pays for some of the bills, it doesn't cover all expenses, and they still have a home and 5 children to take care of while they endure through this fight against cancer.
Ben and Abby are the most selfless people you could ever meet. They are the type of people who show kindness and love to everyone, and they are always putting others before themselves. Anyone who knows this family, knows what a blessing it is to have them as friends. We know of several occasions where they have gone out of their way to help people, and now it's time for everyone to return the favor.
We are asking you to help the Ennis family with their finances during this time. Help us surround them with the love and the comfort of not having to worry about how they are going to get through this financially. Any amount is truly appreciated, and all donations go directly to the Ennis family.
We thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts. Please pass this along, and we ask that you keep the Ennis family in your thoughts and prayers.
