Hello Everyone, My name is Eniola Amusan, A recent graduate who was filled with dreams and hope for the future. In 2021, I was posted to Akwa Ibom State for my NYSC program. Like every other young Nigerian, I looked forward to serving my country and building a better life, but everything changed before the orientation camp even ended.

I fell seriously ill while in camp and I was asked to return home. On my way back, while traveling through Ijebu Ode, I was involved in a terrible accident on the road from Lagos to Ibadan. That single moment changed my life forever.

The accident damaged my spinal cord and since then, I have completely lost sensation in my legs. I can no longer walk or work.

I wear adult diapers daily due to loss of bladder control. I live in constant pain and discomfort, fully dependent on others for basic needs, I have also developed serious bedsores from long periods of immobility.

For the past few years, my family has done everything possible to support me. But the financial and emotional burden has become overwhelming.

Recently, a medical specialist gave me hope: with the right treatment, physical therapy, and support, I may regain some level of mobility and independence. But this will cost at least ₦6 million Naira for medical care alone. In reality, I need ₦10 million Naira in total, because we've exhausted everything and we need to cover physical therapy and rehabilitation, admission costs, transportation, bedsore dressing, laboratory tests and imaging, medication and sundry items including adult diapers .
