The Wooldridge family could use our community’s love and support as they face another difficult medical journey.

As most of you know, 15-year-old Addyson was born with spina bifida with myelomeningocele, club feet, neurogenic bladder, hydrocephalus, and scoliosis. In January, she will undergo her 14th and 15th surgeries, this time to help correct her scoliosis. These procedures will require a lengthy hospital stay, followed by several weeks of recovery at home.

As you can imagine, the costs of medical care, time off work, food, gas, and lodging quickly add up. The Wooldridge family wants to remain by Addyson’s side throughout her recovery, but doing so will create a significant financial strain.

This journey comes on the heels of another challenge—Addyson’s older brother, Leo (17yo), who was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML), was declared in remission in June 2025, after a 2.5-year battle. He has shown incredible courage and bravery throughout this fight, including care and concern for his sister's health. His depth of compassion and strength has revealed great character. Despite the challenges Leo has faced, he remains determined to finish out his senior year of high school. This is an incredible goal, because Leo still requires ongoing treatments of his own.

Despite these trials, the Wooldridge family remains deeply committed to their church and community, often volunteering their time with Riley Hospital and other organizations. Now, they need our help.
