Enhance Youth Programs at TYEC
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I am reaching out to you as the Illinois President for the Children of the American Revolution. Each year the Illinois State President chooses a specific project that will benefit our state. This year the focus is on conservation. I chose the Torstenson Youth Education Center (TYEC) because I support their belief that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in a nurturing environment.
The property utilizes their land for these beliefs and often hosts classes and activities. The TYEC is partnered with the Illinois Conservation Foundation and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and is located just outside of Pecatonica, Illinois. There are approximately 750-acres of beautiful land and terrific people run the programs.
We need your help to expand the program. The way we’re doing this is by raising funds to purchase 2 platform tents and a fire pit area to enhance these aforementioned programs. These tents will allow us to bring more opportunities where children can explore nature, engage in hands-on activities, and develop a love for the outdoors.
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. With your support, we can continue to create enriching experiences that help children discover their potential. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their lives. We are deeply grateful for your generosity and support. Spread the Word!
Please share our campaign with your friends, family, and social networks. We are on the last leg of our fundraising efforts. The more people we reach, the closer we get to our goal. Thank you for helping us bring learning to life for our kids, as well as your consideration!
