Welcome to our GoFundMe campaign! We are the Culture and Climate Team at Belmont-Cragin Elementary, a Title 1 school dedicated to empowering all of our students. Our motto, “Every Child Matters, Every Moment Counts, ¡Échale Ganas!” drives our mission to create a vibrant, inclusive, and inspiring environment.

Our Story:

Belmont-Cragin Elementary serves a diverse and dynamic community. Our dedicated educators focus on Social Emotional Learning (SEL), dual language education, and the fine and performing arts to foster resilience, creativity, and academic success.

The Power of Our Tiger Mascot:

To enhance school spirit and positive behavior, we commissioned unique digital illustrations of our Tiger mascot for our PAWS Posters (Pride, Acceptance, Wisdom, Safety) as part of our PBIS initiative. Students fell in love with these vibrant images, and they have become a beloved symbol of strength and belonging.

Sticker Success:

Capitalizing on the popularity of our Tiger mascot, we created small batches of stickers that students eagerly purchase with their in-house pawbucks. These stickers not only boost school pride but also support our Culture and Climate initiatives.

Our Vision:

With your support, we aim to expand the use of our Tiger mascot across all our advertising and signage, including:

- Event Promotion: Use the mascot to promote assemblies, spirit weeks, and other school events.

- Inspirational Messaging: Create posters that inspire belonging and promote good attendance.

- Diverse Illustrations: Develop a large set of mascot images in various poses, outfits, and themes to reflect different seasons and activities.

- Digital Presence: Feature the mascot on our school website and marquee to enhance our online and physical visibility.

Merchandise Expansion:

We plan to create a variety of merchandise to further promote school pride and generate funds, including:

- Apparel: Shirts and hoodies featuring our mascot and school logo.

- Accessories: Buttons, keychains, magnets, and sticky notes.

- Stationery: Notepads, pens, pencils, notebooks, and journals with our school crest and mascot.

These items will be available for purchase by families, staff, and the community, increasing our school’s visibility and fostering a strong, unified identity.

Our Goals:

With your support, we aim to:

- Expand Mascot Usage: Integrate the Tiger mascot into all school advertising, signage, and digital platforms.

- Develop Merchandise: Create and produce a wide range of school-branded merchandise.

- Enhance School Identity: Strengthen our school’s identity and promote pride among students, staff, and the community.

- Achieve Sustainability: Generate funds through merchandise sales to support ongoing and future Culture and Climate initiatives.

Initial Funding Goal: $5,000

To effectively kickstart our project, we have prioritized the most essential items that total up to our initial fundraising goal of $5,000.

Commission professional digital illustrations to enhance our branding and promotional materials.

Purchase materials and ink to create signs and banners for promoting our cause and events.

Acquire essential supplies such as blank journals, adhesive, sticker vinyl, and laminating sheets to produce branded merchandise for our supporters

Extended Funding Goal (If Exceeded): Additional $3,000

If our fundraiser goes well and we exceed our initial goal, we plan to increase our funding target to include the following items:

Invest in a cutting machine to produce high-quality branded merchandise and signage in-house, enhancing our production efficiency and product quality.

Purchase extra materials to expand our range of branded merchandise offerings.
