Engracia Valdez Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
On June 20th, 2019 our mother and grandmother Engracia Valdez passed away at the age of 94. Many knew her as Tia Santa because she was devoted to the Church and seen as a saint to many. It is very difficult to write this because she was such an important part of our lives, she was our rock and our light, but we understand we were blessed for having her in our lives for so long.
Our grandmother loved going to church every Sunday. She was a strong woman who single handedly raised 7 children and she was a grandmother to many more. She loved and cared for everyone she met and would include everyone in her daily prayers. Anyone who met her felt her blessings and felt the love she gave. Her greatest strengths were her ability to bring a smile to people’s faces, her ability to sing and light up a room, and her ability to stay positive during the most difficult times in her life; including the loss of three children before her.
Our grandmother lived a long life and we are so happy we got to be with her for as long as we did. We always felt our grandmother would live to be 100 years old, but God had a different plan. We firmly believe she is with her children and her brothers and sisters at this time.
In order to give our grandmother the funeral service she deserves and would have wanted, we are asking for any donations to help cover the costs. We are eternally and extremely grateful for any contribution you are able to make.
If you wish to donate directly to Ave Maria Memorial Chapel please call [phone redacted] or walk in to make a donation at 609 Main Street, Watsonville, CA 95076 in the name of Engracia Perez Valdez Sanchez.
Thank you and many blessings from her children and grandchildren.
