English Channel Relay, getting intense now..
Donation protected
Hey!
Thanks for accessing my page! I'm Tomos, a young and enthusiastic lover of crazy (Mam and Dad said stupid) challenges. Last year I ran 186 miles in 7 days across the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, this year I'm swimming in a relay team to cross the English channel. Next year it's a solo crossing so hey now, not challenging enough, YET.
I'll be fundraising for Movember and Breast Cancer Research. On GoFundMe it unfortunately won't allow to fundraise for two charities at once so at the end of the fundraising campaign, I'll split the total money and donate to both charities. All money raised is for the charities, no donation will go towards the cost of the crossing. You have my word on that.
Reasons why to do this stupid challenge?
Around 56,000 people are diagnosed with Breast Cancer each year in the UK. With breast cancer being the most common cancer in the UK, representing 15% of all new cases.
For Movember, 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer in men aged between 16-31. And then 75% of suicides are male in the UK.
These are sons, daughters, brothers and sisters. Friends and partners. Mothers and Fathers. I've experienced the worst of depression and anxiety, had friends that have taken their lives and family diagnosed with breast cancer. That's why I'm doing this, the reason to do will always defeat the hardship that comes with the challenges. If you can donate any amount of money, whether large or small, please know that it will go to a good cause and help people who truly need it.
Warmest regards
