Help Tank get the surgery he desperately needs!

While at work today, I was told of a 14 week old English bulldog puppy who was about to get put down because he fell down the stairs and broke a leg, and the family was not able to pay to see the veterinarian to get him help.  We jumped on the chance to try to help this puppy before he would have been put down thinking it would be a much easier fix than what it is turning out to be. After a series of xrays and veterinary exams, it has been revealed that this puppy’s front legs are both fractured at the elbow in the exact same spot.  If we were to have the vet put a cast on the puppy, he would have extreme arthritis by the age of 2 and wouldn’t be able to walk. Our only other option is to refer to a orthopedic surgeon to have plates placed in each elbow. This is a very expensive surgery, and not something we were quite ready for. The good news is, is that if the puppy is able to receive this surgery, he will most likely recover complete and live long, pain free life.
