Hello, I'm Laurel otherwise know as Lau, Lozza or more recently, Skip.
You may of heard my new catchphrase "what did you say?" Or "I can't hear you"...
That's all because of a horrid infection that has almost made my left ear redundant after a short hospital stay and a lot of pain meds later, my hearing eventually got worse to the point I now sport two over ear hearing aids.
Now, every cloud and all of this jazz has a silver lining, I have been given the opportunity to take my biggest passion, rugby, international by playing for England Deaf Women in South Africa in August '24. I have already made a debut run out but would be so proud to wear the rose over seas and a true honour to represent the deaf community
As players, we need to raise the funds to get our squad out there and play.
