The Barstow Professional Firefighter’s Association L2325 would like to create this GoFundMe on behalf of the Spink family. On December 5th, 2021 Dave was struck by a vehicle on the freeway as his engine company was clearing a previous traffic collision. His crew and other Barstow Fire Department personnel administered care before transporting Dave to a Mercy Air helipad, where he was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Dave’s injuries are extensive and he remains in critical condition. We hope to assist the Spink family with any unanticipated expenses that will undoubtedly arise. Our brothers and the Spink family appreciate your generosity during this tragedy.
