On January 29, we’re hosting a free Community Engagement Fair in Santa Rosa, a day-long exhibition of organizations and community groups from across the North Bay seeking volunteers and activists to take a stand, roll up their sleeves and get to work. Our goal is to transform the post-inauguration angst of everyday citizens into constructive action helping to secure civil liberties, protect the disenfranchised and empower a more equitable economy and resilient ecology.
But because this event has grown so much since we first conceived the idea, we’ve had to move it to the fairgrounds where… a few unexpected costs have added up. (who knew we’d have to hire a crossing guard?!?!)
And because we’re 100% committed to keeping this event affordable to grassroots groups and ABSOLUTELY FREE to all attendees, we’re reaching out to you for help. If everyone who’s so far RSVP’d pitched in just a couple bucks, we’d be good to go.
So please consider helping us keep this event accessible to all, as these opportunities and future activists are vital to a healthy democracy.
