Hi, I'm Laura. Enfoiré used to be my cat, but he still is--and will always be--Yann's round son.

Enfoiré hasn't been feeling well for the past week. Yann took him to the vet for bloodwork, which already set Yann back $1k. The bloodwork came back normal, so Enfoiré was sedated so that he could be xrayed and get his mouth inspected.

The x-ray shows that Enfoiré has a foreign object stuck in his stomach. Not removing it has the potential to escalate things if the object moves lower in his intestine.

Enfoiré needs surgery ASAP. Yann has already paid a lot out of pocket: the additional costs will put him in financial hardship, but he loves Enfoiré. And so do I.

Let's make things a little less stressful for Yann while he deals with his sick buddy. Even a dollar would help.

UPDATE: Enfoiré got an endoscopy on August 9th via BC Mobile Animal Endoscopy, which is based on the mainland. The vet flew out to Victoria for this and successfully removed... a rubber grommet.

Enfoiré, being the little shit he is, stole this out of Yann's tool bag.

Enfoiré seems to have fully recovered; Yann's bank account, on the other hand, is still hurting. So, this fundraiser will stay active in hopes that donations will continue to trickle in!

We are SO happy Enfoiré is okay now!
