Stage 3 lung cancer medical cost.

Hi, my name is Martin Castillo. I come to you with the greatest of need. My brother Steve Castillo was recently diagnosed with stage three lung cancer.

He went to the doctor in December 2022 for a severe cough. Doctors did a CAT scan and x-ray and noticed a spot on his lungs. He was sent for further testing, and it confirmed his diagnosis. Thankfully, more testing confirmed that this time the cancer has not spread to his other body parts or organs. That has been such a great blessing. He has started chemo and radiation treatments weekly, which have definitely taken a toll on his body. He needs to continue working, which has become difficult as the consequences of the treatments make it very difficult. Our goal for helping him is to ease the burden the financial burden that co-pays gas bills and all other expenses are accumulating while his treatments are continuing. His most recent expense was a $3000 medical bed due to him not being able to sleep flat. And numerous out of pocket cost for his treatments.

This is just the beginning, and some new expenses are definitely bound to pop up here and there. We want Steve to be able to attack this disease with his strongest heart body and soul. Stress of finances will only weaken and worry him,so we want to be able to help him in any way we can to ease that burden. If you know Steve, you know that he would do anything to help anyone. He’s an amazing person, father, stepfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and son. Please help us and help him.
