Wilderspin Virtual Cycle Ride
On Saturday July 6th, our Chair Jean Cannon, alongside a handful of Wilderspin volunteers, will be taking part in a sponsored virtual cycle ride here at Wilderspin in Barton on Humber, North Lincolnshire.
They will cycle 90 miles in total to raise some much needed funds for various repairs to the building.
This is the equivalent of travelling to Pickwell in Leicestershire.
It is significant for Wilderspin as it’s where the organ from the old Primitive Methodist Chapel, now the Joseph Wright Hall, part of Wilderspin, ended up.
Funds raised from the “ride” are to help towards lighting improvements in the Hall’s auditorium.
