Frater Larry Emerson and his wife June are in the midst of a serious battle and need our help. Larry was diagnosed in February of 2013 with Glioblastoma (GBM) brain cancer, level 4. Although the initial prognosis was not encouraging, the Emerson's continue to wage a courageous battle. Larry, with June by his side, is in the midst of bi-weekly Avastin infusion to attempt to arrest the development of the tumor located on the right side of his brain.
Through the love and support of former co-workers of Larry, a tax-exempt fund has been established through Capital One Bank. This site has been established to allow for a broader dissemination of the effort to collect funds to mitigate the significant funds it takes to wage this daily battle.
