Help Bunny gain her independence with an electric wheelchair

Hi everyone,

My name is "Bunny " Caroline Hopkins, and asking for help like this is one of the hardest things I've ever done. But after years of trying to fight my way back to independence, I've realized I can't do it alone.

I live with a rare nueromuscular autoimmune disease called Myasthenia Gravis, along with Dysautonomia/POTS. These illnesses have completely changed my life. I went from being independent, adventurous, and full of energy - to spending my days in bed or traveling to countless medical appointments for infusions and physical therapy.

I've been holding on to hope that maybe I'd "get better," but the years have passed, and I'm still largely confined to my home. I'm ready to stop waiting for life to change - instead, take steps to change it myself.

An electric wheelchair would give me the freedom and independence I've lost. It would let me do everyday things that most people take for granted - like going to the grocery store, meeting a friend for lunch, or seeing a movie outiside of my bedroom.

The wheelchair I need is a Fold & Go MagShock Electric Wheelchair which costs $2,895 before tax. My goal is to raise enough to cover the chair, any necessary accessories, and delivery costs.

It's humbling and a little embarrassing to ask for help, but this wheelchair would truly change my life. Every donation- no matter how small - brings me closer to regaining mobility, independence, and a sense of normalcy.
