My sister was involved in a severe car accident last week and requires immediate and ongoing support. We are grateful beyond words that she survived and is absolutely, to quote her nurses, “a miracle”. Eneida is a woman of faith and her still being with us is answer to many prayers.

She works full time, has insurance and prioritizes her care after multiple health issues over the past few years, including breast cancer for which we sought support on this platform. So many of you were generous at that time, and we once again are in need of community support. We foresee a long and costly road to recovery ahead that will involve in-home care including wheelchair accessibility, transportation, procedures, and more.

Eneida has passionately dedicated the past decade of her life to Shriners Hospital/El Zaribah, a non-profit organization providing children with specific orthopedic needs and their families with vital medical care, as Patient Transportation Coordinator and Resources Advocate. And now she needs our help to fuel her own care coordination and compassion.

We are a small and devoted family many of you have come to know over the course of our twenty years in Phoenix and Eneida's many decades in New York. And we will continue to do everything we can for her as she recovers, which includes asking for your help.
