Eneida Ramos-Rico

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this. Our mother Eneida Ramos-Rico is reaching the end of her time on this earth. She has been battling health issues all her life. Dialysis, diabetes, and more. Last week she had an aortic tear to her heart and after a long 8 hour surgery, the doctors at Hartford hospital were able to fix it. However, this past Thursday after what was supposed to be a routine minor procedure to remove fluid from her lungs, she went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated after 30 minutes. She lost too much oxygen to her brain leaving her a level below brain dead with no function at all. We are honoring her wishes and going to let her pass peacefully Monday September 18th. We are all truly devastated beyond words or comprehension to be losing our light in this world. The woman who anyone has ever met, instantly fell in love with. She was someone who made anyone and, I mean anyone feel welcomed, loved, and part of the family. Whether it was her jokes, her "never take shit from anyone" attitude, or her complete kindness to anyone she met, she was and we say this with no exaggeration, the best that this world could offer. With the unexpectedness of this whole ordeal we want to reach out to everyone to ask for a contribution if you can, or at least share this post. Don't worry if you can't. We are grateful regardless.
