Endoscopic examinations for indigenous community
Donation protected
Greetings from the SCISCO Foundation team, a dedicated group of individuals committed to improving healthcare in indigenous communities across Colombia. Our ongoing project focuses on crafting oncological clinical practice guidelines tailored for these communities, acknowledging their unique cultural and geographical realities.
Our Mission
We're raising funds to support the crucial development and implementation of endoscopic examinations within indigenous communities. This initiative is not just a medical intervention but a step towards equitable healthcare access, respecting and integrating traditional healing practices and knowledge.
Why It's Important
Indigenous populations in Colombia face significant barriers to healthcare, especially in detecting and treating cancer. Our project aims to bridge this gap by providing endoscopic services essential for early cancer detection, which is often unavailable in these remote areas.
How Funds Will Be Used
Every donation goes directly towards:
- Purchasing endoscopic equipment.
- Training healthcare professionals to deliver culturally sensitive care.
- Developing and disseminating guidelines that combine modern oncological practices with traditional knowledge.
Join Us in This Journey
Your support can transform healthcare delivery for indigenous communities, ensuring they receive the compassionate and competent care they deserve. Together, we can make a significant impact in the fight against cancer, honoring and preserving the rich cultural heritage of Colombia's indigenous peoples.
