Endometriosis Research “ENDO1000” Project
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lindsey and I am 1 in 10 women living with Endometriosis.
Following surgery 4 weeks ago, after a 2 year battle fighting to be heard and believed, I received a diagnosis of stage 3 Endometriosis.
As March is Endometriosis awareness month and I am still in recovery from surgery, I have decided to raise funds and awareness by giving up Coffee (including any other form of Caffeine) for the full month of March.
I will be donating all funds raised to support the ENDO1000 research project. The project, led by The University of Edinburgh, will enable the recruitment of 1000 women with Endometriosis to participate in pioneering research. ENDO1000 is a UK-wide research project aiming to accelerate discovery via advance data-driven research among 1000 women with endometriosis. The cost per woman on the study is around £1000, that means the project must raise £1million to include all 1000 women in the study.
With your help, I would love to be able to raise £1000 over the coming weeks and months ahead to support 1 women in the study. I do this with the hope that such research supports our future generations of women, so they do not have to suffer in the same way that we have.
Thank you,
Lindsey
