Hi all! A few people have asked me to set up a fundraiser as a way to collect some money to go towards my £12000 surgery.

Those of you that have followed me for a while will know the long journey I have had with my health, and how much it has impacted me.

Recently I had scans with a private endometriosis specialist which confirmed that I have severe stage 4 endo, along with adenomyosis.

This severely impacts my life in many ways. I am in pain daily, which a cocktail of painkillers barely touch. It effects my mobility, making it incredibly painful to walk. Its hospitalised me more times than I can count. As well as a whole host of other issues such as debilitating fatigue, joint issues, digestion problems, nausea, headaches, hormonal issues, painful bloating and inflammation, and so on.

I have more bad days than good now, spending many days at a time stuck in bed with flare ups, leaving me unable to do most normal daily activities.

The endo is deep infiltrating and has effected my uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, pelvic wall, ligaments and bowels. My organs are tethered and covered in adhesions.

The severity of this means that a normal NHS gynae surgeon would not have the expertise to be able to give me the correct surgery, or I would need to wait many years to see a specialist on the NHS waitlists.

Since Aug 2024 the disease has already progressed significantly so waiting is not a viable option.

I'm looking to have specialist excision surgery with two expert surgeons, which will give me the best chance of getting rid of the debilitating pain, protecting my organs and having some quality of life back.

If you know me personally, you will know I absolutely hate asking for help. I'm highly independent and have always done whatever I can to get through whatever situation I am in. But finding this amount of money is not something that I am able to do alone this time.
