Hello, my name is Autumn and I am making this go fund me for my grandma Dolores Vinson.

Last Thursday, March 23rd, nana was experiencing pain in her lower abdomen and chest. Our cousin Dorie took her to the ER when they discovered pneumonia and fluid near her heart and lungs. They tried to help treat nana with antibiotics but while they were doing so they also discovered a mast growing that has doubled in size within a week while nana was in the hospital. The doctors are unsure what kind of cancer it is and in order to find out or to do any type of procedure, they do not think that nana will survive with her age and current condition. We did not want to risk having our nana pass on an operating table. We got the unfortunate news on Tuesday, March 28th that nana could possibly have a few days or weeks left. The only other option was to have nana start hospice and to make her as comfortable as possible for her last few days/weeks here with us.

Yesterday, March 29th we got nana situated at home for hospice. We are trying to make her feel as comfortable and loved as possible. Nana wants to be buried and we intend on giving that to her.

Obviously, with the rise in the cost of living and only having the income of my sister and me, funeral costs are out of our budget. We want to give her the best send-off we can give with what we can afford. My sister (Heaven-Leigh) and I are the ones who live with her and were raised by her. We want to do the most with what we have. We are not asking for much but anything will help.

This has been extremely hard on us and the rest of the family. Nana was a mother to us and she helped raise us the best she could with what little she had. We want to thank everyone who has been there supporting us and giving us love. We are forever grateful for the small amount of time we have left with our nana. She is the most beautiful, strongest woman we have ever known, and will still continue to look up to her.
