eNDiO's Graduation Gift: Grad Fest '21 !!!

Heyo, my name is Nnamdi Darlington and I am an artist a.k.a. eNDiO. I am 21 years old, currently based in the Twin Cities. I'm about to hit a crucial landmark moment in my life: graduating from the University of Minnesota with a BFA in Acting. The life of a creative has not been an easy path to take, especially as a black artist and definitely not during a pandemic.
I've been blessed with an incredible circle of classmates, collaborators & friends who have stuck by my side and supported my growth. We have recently banded to offically form our artist collective: A.o.E. (Artists on Earth) and we want to give the UMN Class of '21 the best graduation and celebrate their accomplishments, and moving on to a new stage of life! This may be a grad party but it's the community's party too, so we need YOUR help!
We gathered some unforgettable visual artists and performers from around the Twin Cities to create an art & music festival like no other. We're calling it GRAD FEST! We want to give the Twin Cities an event like no other with food, drinks, games, and all kinds of merch and Grad Fest memorabilia. However, we are all young artists trying to jumpstart careers, and are in dire need of funds to give you the best show to start your summer; Here's what your kind donations will go towards:

Stage Deck rental/construction: $100
Audio Engineer Rate: $300

LIGHTS:
-Stage lights: $100
FOOD: $100
DRINKS: $150
HEALTH AND SANITATION $50

WARDROBE & MAKEUP: $200
PARTY FAVORS & MERCHANDISE: $200

- Glow Sticks - $15
- Bubbles - $40

These are the essential items we need for us to bring you the best gradutation party the University and, by extension, the Twin Cities has yet to see! We need these funds AS SOON AS POSSIBLE in order to reach our $2500 goal and be ready by MAY 15th. Your donations and coming out to Grad Fest will not only be the best graduation gift I could hope to receive but will as serve as a means to get our artists & staff PAID. On top of that, you would play a direct hand in supporting and funding the next generation of creative projects, dreams, and passions from a brilliant collective of hard-working, compassionate, and generous young adults who just want to uplift the community that created them and change the world for the better.
The Twin Cities is our home. It has molded us into the artists we are today and has brought us together even when we are half a world away. Minnesota has been overlooked and underrepresented for far too long now. We believe it's time for world to see what our city really has to offer: Truth, Light, and Love.
