Endicott Family lost everything in a fire July 18
Hi, my name is Lisa Bell and I am fundraising for a dear friend and her family.
Sunday, July 18th Danielle's family home went up in flames. The fire started in the electrical components of the basement and quickly spread throughout the house, with the fire department describing it as "Total Devastation".
The family lost BOTH their cats. Danielle was there the day milo came into this word over 9 years ago. He was a sweet black and white tuxedo cat, and Drake they got from the vet the kittens had been abandoned 20 years ago and they picked the sweet little furry puff ball. Sadly Drake was recently diagnosed with cancer he never stood a chance to run out so he hid and died from smoke inhalation as well as milo.
Danielle, her son and her sons friend REPEATEDLY RAN BACK IN, not once not twice but THREE TIMES searching for their family animals.
Ani, Danielle's toddler kept chasing Her mom back in the house she was finally passed to her grandmother where they ran to safety while Danielle and her son and his friend tried to slow the flames but unfortunately with an electrical fire it moves FAST. Danielle and her son Aiden both suffered from smoke inhalation and as they realized their efforts were futile they ran out just in time to see the house completely engulfed in flames in just minutes.
Thankfully Danielle had received first responder training and knew how to help her family. Unfortunately the closest fire hydrant was at least 100 yards away and OVER 50 firemen and a pump truck were there attaching hose to hose as the family sat in absolute disbelief as all their memories and momentous and home burned up. As if the last year wasn't hard enough, now this family needs EVERYTHING. There are 3 adults, 2 children, 16yr old Aiden and 3yr old Ani.
It was at least 45mins after the fire fighters were on the property that they even started fighting the fire. The family stood soot covered faces with tears running down there face as they watch the firemen just standing there watching it burn as well. There has been a lot of trauma since and Danielle is at the point at 2 weeks she has probably had 20hours sleep total. She closes her eyes and hers her daughters screams and sees the flames and the only way she can sleep Is when total exhaustion kicks in.
This family of 5 is now squeezed into a hotel room until they can find temp housing while waiting the year it will take to rebuild their home. Danielle didn't only lose the household contents, she also lost everything to support her two homebased businesses .
Monetary donations are needed immediately to help cover their housing and meal expenses. Danielle also can accept payment through
