Inside the Amazon River lives one of the world’s most unique mammals, the Pink River Dolphin. Known locally as the boto, they are not just beautiful, but are a symbol of the Amazon itself and found nowhere else on Earth.
Today, their future is at risk.
Pollution, habitat destruction, illegal fishing practices, and human conflict are pushing these dolphins closer to extinction. Without action, this species could disappear from the river systems they’ve called home for millions of years.
This is why we are raising funds for the Amazon River Dolphin Conservation Foundation (ARDCF).
The ARDCF works directly in the Amazon to protect Pink River Dolphins through scientific research, community education, and conservation programs.
We are raising funds for research to protect their habitat, buy protected land for them to live in, and educational programs that ensure future generations understand the importance of preserving the Amazon’s wildlife.
Thank you for believing in conservation, and thank you for helping us protect one of nature’s most magical creatures.
