Urgent Aid for Husband's Stroke Recovery

I personally have never had to ask for help.

I lost my mother on May 7th, 2025. On May 11th, my husband went into the hospital with afib and a huge blood clot in his heart. Providence Hospital discharged him on the 14th, and less than 24 hours later, he had a stroke and was in the hospital for almost a month. His left arm and hand are paralyzed, and he is unable to work. He also has congestive heart failure and lost most of his vision in his left eye.

Between the funeral and his medical costs, prescription copays, and household bills, we are struggling to even buy groceries. Both of our cars broke down in the last 2 weeks, so now we are struggling to get him to his doctor appointments. It will be over a month before his social security will kick in and waiting up to a year to get approved for disability benefits.

I have a serious heart condition, and I also can't work. If anyone could please help, it would be much appreciated. I wouldn't ask if there was any other option at this time. Anything would help at this time. Thank you very much in advance.
