A number of work colleagues and myself are organizing a fund-raising event to help provide urgent humanitarian assistance to the people of Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. In the midst of this twenty-first century holocaust, we are not prepared to watch the deliberate starvation and slaughter of defenceless men, women and especially children and remain silent. Our fund-raising event is in the form of a mountain walk and will take place on Sunday 28th September 2025. All monies raised will go to Medical Aid for Palestine which works in partnership with Palestinian doctors, nurses and other medical professionals, thousands of whom have been deliberately targeted and killed, to help provide urgent medical care to those denied treatment because of the brutal occupation and systematic destruction of the Palestinian healthcare system.
