How often do we turn on the tap at home to get water… for drinking, cooking, bathing…
countless times each day. And most of us probably never even give it a second thought.

However, the people of Pakistan… my family, my friends… They can’t view water
as an afterthought. Most people in Pakistan do not have access to clean, drinkable, usable water.

This cause is personal to me. My family in Pakistan has dedicated their lives to helping
their people. My Aunt was the President of the All Pak-China Friendship Association
(APCFA) before she passed away in 2020, and my Uncle is the Executive Director at
Pakistan Institute for Env-Dev Action Research. My cousin is following in his mother's
footsteps and is an active member of APCFA.

Now more than ever, they need our help!

Even though my immediate family is not directly suffering from the water crisis in
Pakistan, too many of our family, friends and neighbors are suffering. And even though
my Uncle is considered to be in the upper tier of Pakistani culture, he contracted
Hepatitis A from what he believed to be clean drinking water. The water crisis in
Pakistan is far-reaching. Those with the fewest means suffer the most, but this is a
country-wide problem.

This is where you come in! It is believed Pakistan will run out of water as early as 2025
(!!!) With the implementation of solar-powered atmospheric water generation stations,
we can effectively end the water crisis in Pakistan.

We have already allocated 23 acres to build the solar farm and water station.
We are raising funds to cover the cost of solar panels and water generators. We
have partnered with Green Plug Solar to build and maintain the project and formed a
non-profit to help raise and manage donations.

So, how does it all work? One water station can provide clean drinking water for
100,000 people and generate almost 50 million dollars in revenue over the next 25
years. The revenue generated will be used to build other water stations throughout the
country and help rebuild much-needed infrastructure. The water stations can also be
used to provide irrigation for farmland. Each site produces between 4,000 and 5,000 GL of water per day.

The water crisis in Pakistan not only affects Pakistan’s agriculture sector (which
contributes to 23 percent of Pakistan’s GDP and employs 42 percent of its labor force),
it also threatens energy and food security and, therefore, national security.
This is our opportunity to not only do something good but to change the world. 100% of
the revenue generated through this campaign will go towards additional water stations
and infrastructure.
