Hi, my name is Sara. I’m 39 years old and I’m faced with some very serious dental problems.

The medications I am on for my mental health have caused terrible dry mouth, which has rapidly caused my teeth to deteriorate. Genetics and access to dental care as well as my previous battle with alcohol (proud to be almost 4 years sober!) have impacted my oral health as well.

I have had over half of my teeth pulled due to infections and pain.

I am in pain all of the time. It’s gotten to a point where I have to do something drastic. There is no saving what is left of my teeth.

I can’t eat properly, I don’t digest food correctly, and it just hurts all of the time.

Because our healthcare system is broken, it’s going to cost far more than we can afford to get dentures.

I’ve started this GoFundMe as a means to help cover the costs of the surgery and to help pay for the dentures.

Any help is so deeply appreciated and will help me towards living a life pain-free.
