To everyone who may not yet have heard the terrible news, our friend, brother, father and son, has passed away on 11/23/2020.

Paul was hospitalized in the beginning of November 2020 when he encountered his 2nd stroke in under 8 months while being only 41 years old. Within minutes upon arriving to the ER, he fell unconscious  and was was put on a ventilator to help him breath. During his time in the hospital, his prognosis continued to worsen. Over time as his health continued to decline the focused shifted to symptom control, pain relief, and quality of life for Paul. Through all the trials and tribulations Paul has gone through, he has always outlasted his complications. After countless hours of medical and family deliberations and nearly a month of intensive and neurological care, Paul received comfort care and passed away at Scripps La Jolla Hospital.

Funeral plans are still being arranged, and any updates regarding locations and times will be posted here.

Planning for his funeral is beyond comprehension for me (his youngest brother, Aaron) and our family as we are still in shock. Understandably my mother, his 2 other siblings and his 3 children are struggling to cope, so I am stepping in to help with organizing Paul's End of Life Services. 

We have already had numerous emails, texts and messages from people asking how to help, so this campaign has been created as a way to keep everyone up-to-date with plans, and also offer a place for messages and donations to be left
