Yesterday my Mom died. She was my best friend and sometimes my only friend. She really was my number 1 fan. She never could wrap her head around the idea that to me, she was my hero. She was always surprised by me telling my friends about how she lost 60 lbs last year, how she taught me how to drive a stick shift, how to garden, and honestly everything. Anyone that knows me knows I call my Mom everyday and talk about her constantly. She taught me EVERYTHING.
Losing her, it’s literally like losing a part of myself. I know she’s my guardian angel now. God help whoever else was watching over me because no one can watch over her girl like she can. My mom and I told each other everything. She knew about all the people that did me dirty and I knew everyone that wronged her too. She was a Jersey Girl and proud of it. I know her and Grandpa and Uncle Steve are sitting in Yankee Stadium watching the games and sitting at the Inlet fishing with Uncle George. My mom was a hell of a fighter and she made me exactly who I am today. Even when times were tough she never let me know it and I admire her for that. Right now, this all just feels so surreal but I know you’re gonna get me through this Mom and ♥️U
