Our family suffered a tremendous loss yesterday March 15th. Dan Petchell lost his life in an apartment fire. Dan served the Howell community for many years as a Firefighter and an EMT.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Dan, you knew he had the kindest heart. As my mother put it so eloquently “Dan was just to good for this world, he would do anything in his power to help everyone around him and had a heart of gold”

Dan was the loving father of Heather, Katie, Kelsey, and Danielle, husband to Linda, and grandfather to Caden and Benny.

While his family mourns his unexpected passing, it would mean the world to all of us if we could come together to help offset the financial burden on his family.
