End of Life Expenses For Dale to help Rita

Donation protected
It is with great sorrow and pain that I have to write this. A wonderful life was taken from us too soon. Our Father, mentor, biggest fan, supporter and friend Dale Elkins passed away Friday night, October 1 after his long battle with Cancer and then Covid.
Our Father started his life as an adopted child and lost his best friend, his adopted Father Menice at the young age of 13. Dale went on to serve our Country in the AirForce at 17. He met and later married Rita (Mom) when I was just 2! Fast forward a year and my baby sister Nikki was born. Our Family was complete. Rita, Dale and “The Girls” as we were always lovingly referred to. In addition to being our Dad, and Poppy Dale to his Grandchildren, Dale was one of the baddest automotive mechanics around! He specialized in muscle cars and had a passion for racing and collecting some of the rarest and fastest American made cars! He absolutely loved hanging out with his friends at the car hangouts. Some of my favorite memories of my Dad as a kid, are when we would leave a car hangout and then street race. Nikki and I would be in the backseat screaming “Go Daddy, Go, Go!” Our Dad also told the best animated stories, expressing himself with his hands and was sure to make everyone laugh. He was one of the funniest people I have ever known and I don’t think he even tried. Our Dad, much like everyone else did not want to die. He put up a good, long, hard fight to stay with us as long as he possibly could. Our hearts are broken and he will be missed more than words can even begin to express. He leaves behind his best friend of 40 years and his wife Rita. After Dale was unable to work anymore because of Cancer, life became trying at times for them, barely being able to afford all of his medications and making just enough money, to make ends meet. After my Father’s passing my Mother is left with a significant decrease in income and unexpected medical and cremation expenses. My hopes are, to help raise a little bit of money for her, so that these unexpected hardships, do not have to be as much of a burden on her during her time of grievance. My Mother has always been known to give to different causes, even when she has barely had any to give. Please, even if you can only donate a little, that little, would be the greatest blessing for her right now during this difficult time......
Mother Theresa~Helping One Person May Not Change The Whole World, But It Might Change The Whole World For That One Person.
To my Dad... We love you more than life and this is not Goodbye, we will be seeing you again! In the meantime, we will do our best to look out for Mom.
