End of Life costs; Family of Mary Mendez
One of my closest friends, of whom I consider like a sister; her family has endured loss after loss in the past few months. This year has been difficult for so many and my heart aches especially for this family.
These days, you lose a loved one and before processing your grief you have to begin the hardship of planning services, which includes time and funds that are unexpected, but still absolutely necessary. Afterwards, you return to work and home
and you go into survival mode in order to continue being a dependable employee and provider for your family... all while grieving the loss of whom you loved and lost.
My friend Yvette lost her mother this morning due to kidney failure. Her name was Mary Mendez of Sweetwater, Texas. Mary was a mother to 5 children; Oliver, Dominic, Yvette, Adrian and Audrey. Mary had 12 grandchildren.
Mary’s children and grandchildren live through out Texas; they have and must continue to travel in order to make end of life arrangements and now, funeral arrangements for their mother. Mary did not have life insurance. I ask that if you’re reading this and if able to do so, please help the family of Mary Mendez in laying her to rest peacefully and respectfully without extreme financial hardship on her children.
Thank you.
