Update: On Monday, November 29th, 2021, Gina Herriott passed away at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, IA. Though her illness did not last long, her battle was hard fought, and she was able to pass after nearly two weeks in the hospital oncology ward. Many family members and friends gathered to visit her and give her their final words and prayers. Though she became nonverbal, she was grateful to everyone who came to visit, and she showed it through nods and tears. Memorial services are currently in planning, and will be held soon to all who are available to make it. We will also provide a Zoom link for those who cannot make it to her service.
We want to thank our gracious donors and friends who have given or shared her story. It's been a tremendously wonderful experience to see the world come together for Gina, who loved the Christmas season and the joy that spread across mankind during the holidays.
After battling with pancreatic cancer for nearly a year, we have found ourselves planning the end of life care for Gina Herriott and her family. Gina rarely asked for help from anyone, but there was never an extended hand that she didn't grasp, or help that she didn't give.

After battling with pancreatic cancer for nearly a year, we have found ourselves planning the end of life care for Gina Herriott and her family. Gina rarely asked for help from anyone, but there was never an extended hand that she didn't grasp, or help that she didn't give.
Her life has been very short, and the Herriott/Fidler family has been devastated by her sudden illness, which will likely take her shortly after her 55th birthday.
The Herriott/Fidler family is trying to help pay for hospital and treatment expenses, alongside hospice care, and memorial expenses.
Though her treatment has been short, the bills are exorbitant, and our fundraiser will likely be closer to a drop in the bucket than a comprehensive financial plan.
The Herriott/Fidler family thanks everyone who gives or shares for our family fundraiser event. #dignityforGina
